requirements for taking GED® tests
To take the GED® tests in California, you must be at least 18 years of age or be within 60 days of your 18th birthday, or within 60 days of your high school class graduation date.
Students must provide one form of valid identification. The ID must be government issued and be current (not expired). The ID must include the student’s name, address, date of birth, signature, and photograph. GED® Testing Service accepts the following forms of identification:
1. Passport
2. Driver’s License
3. National/state/county identification card
4. Any other form of government issued ID (national or foreign) including Marticular Consular.
