How to create an email account
If you already have a personal email account, you do not need to create another address. These instructions are only for individuals who DO NOT have an email account.
Below are three free email provider names. There are many more free providers on the Internet. The links to Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook are listed for your convenience.

Why should I create an email account before coming to my first Orientation Meeting?
If you attend an Adult School Orientation, or if you plan to take any GED practice test or official GED® subject test, you must have an email account. The email account is used to create your GED®.com account username. In addition, GED.com will send you email notices of test results and other important GED.com information.

- Write down your new email account username and password and bring it to your Orientation meeting or GED® test.
